Winter Snack Chat - Ages 4-6

Service Description

Our Social Skills Group is designed to help children strengthen their social communication and executive functioning in a supportive, engaging environment. Each session incorporates “Snack Chat”, a guided snack time where children practice conversation skills, turn-taking, and perspective-taking, along with structured play and interactive activities. Participants will work on skills such as: -Initiating and maintaining conversations - Taking turns and sharing ideas - Following group expectations and routines - Reading nonverbal cues and understanding social context - Planning, organizing, and shifting attention during group activities This group blends structured teaching with natural opportunities for connection, helping children become more confident and flexible communicators. This is a 3-day mini camp over winter break, led by one of our incredible Speech Language Pathologists. First session will be held on Monday, December 29th from 11:00am-12:00pm, second session on Wednesday, December 31st from 11:00am-12:00pm, and the final session on Friday, January 2nd from 11:00am-12:00pm. Registration cost covers all three days. Participants must attend all three days. Parents must stay within the clinic during each session. Your child does not need to already be a client at Clear Path to join this class. This class is a great fit for: - Children ages 4-6 years old (can adjust based on group level) -Children who would benefit from structured social opportunities to build communication and social interaction skills. -Great for children who may: -Struggle with turn-taking, sharing, or flexibility -Benefit from practice initiating and maintaining peer interactions -Need support with executive functioning skills like planning, shifting, and regulating behavior in group settings -Receive speech-language or occupational therapy focused on social communication
