Service Description

Our Special Interests Social Group provides children with a structured, affirming space to connect with peers through the topics they love most. Each session blends guided social interaction with child-led exploration of special interests, whether that’s dinosaurs, art, trains, or anything in between. Activities are designed to foster: - Initiating and sustaining conversations about personal interests - Listening and responding to peers’ ideas - Turn-taking, sharing, and group problem-solving - Perspective-taking and flexible thinking - Executive functioning skills like planning, organizing, and shifting between topics or activities By building on what lights kids up, we help strengthen their social confidence and peer connection in a supportive, neurodiversity-affirming environment.
